The Guys
Ready to head home.

The first weekend of December we took our annual trip to the cabin in Blue Ridge to celebrate Christmas with "Mama Grit" and "Doc Webb" (as Bart calls my parents).  We had a very relaxing weekend reading in front of the fire, watching Harry Potter, and going through our Christmas stockings!

Enchanted Garden of Lights

Wake up, Missy! Summer's driving without a license!

Is he tall enough?

Squeeze on through, Bart!
The Burketts
This weekend the Burketts came with us to see the Enchanted Garden of Lights at Rock City!  J. Tingle's band, Third Lobby, was there playing Christmas Carols.  We were a little too late to catch all the fun stuff for kids, though.  Santa was there and they had a station where they dressed little girls up as sugar plum fairies!  How fun would that be!?!

Weekend to Remember

Kendra and J. imitating the cover to the Weekend to Remember book.

This weekend Bart and I had the opportunity to meet Kendra and J. at the Weekend to Remember at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.  It was fun and a great investment into our marriage!

Welcome Home!

I sure miss Bart when he's gone for a week!

Coolest Parents in the World

My mom and dad are the coolest parents in the world!  They dressed up in their Renaissance Costumes to answer the door for the trick-or-treaters. =)  I wanted to play dress-up too, but I had to work!  My Renaissance costume is just sitting in the closet collecting dust.  Maybe next year I can play!
the only race picture I took (and it hadn't even started)
The Happy Couple
my nice raccoon eyes...that became more obvious that night!
I needed his hat!

We had a big weekend last weekend...Bart and I carved our Halloween pumpkins and went to the race in Atlanta.  Carving pumpkins is definitely not my forte, but Bart is a pro!  We have no pictures to prove it, though.  We only have a few from the race, but we had a great time!

For Tim

This blog is for Tim...  (no more pestering me about updating my blog!)   =)

Last weekend I had a way fun girl's weekend!  Unfortunately my camera was dead, so I'm waiting for pictures from Hannah's camera.

My cousin, David, gave me four tickets to the UGA game.  So Hannah (cousin), Elizabeth (nursing school friend), Breanne (old roommate),  and I met David and some of his friends at the game.  We did a little tailgating first and then went out to eat after.  Fun! In my opinion, sports events are only fun to watch when you are actually there with all of the excitement.  Watching them on TV is for the birds!

Hannah and I stayed at Elizabeth's house where we watched scary movies in honor of October!  We must be as festive as possible!

Every female needs "time with the girls," and I thoroughly enjoyed mine!  I did miss my lovely husband, though.

Bart's 27th B-day!

Max, Cindy, and Bart on Bart's 27th Birthday!

KJ's getting some love!
Yummy Chocolate Pecan Pie...
always serious...

For Bart's 27th Birthday, his mom had the family over for a low country boil.  Aunt Pam made her yummy Chocolate Pecan pie and Bart was thrilled with his new iPod touch!  He said that morning "It's just another day" (sounded a lot like Eeyore) but in the end, he was thrilled!

(Bad Bad self portrait!)

Last Thursday we went to the first annual Guitars and Stars concert in Ringold.  It was quite fun...we saw The Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Jamey Johnson, and Colt Ford.  I guess I'm starting to like Country Music more (thanks to Bart!)

High Noon Saloon

Bart and Me
Tim and Missy
Missy, Randy Houser, Me
Last night our friends Tim and Missy invited us to go hear Randy Houser with them at US101's High Noon Saloon at the Comedy Catch.  I was embarrassed at first because I had never heard of him!  Turns out he is one of the writers of  "Honky Tonk Bandonkadonk." He was great and we had a wonderful time...laughed a lot!

Tennessee River Gorge

We had family come visit this weekend, so we all went to Chattanooga to play and cruise the Tennessee River Gorge!
